German Free Speech
In Germany, a judge sentenced Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel to five years in prison and complained that he couldn't sentence him to more. Holocaust denial can also land you in the slammer in Belgium, France, Spain, and Austria. Germany wants their laws regrading Holocaust denial extended to the entire European Union. But with Israel occupying the West Bank and bombing Lebanon, there's little enthusiasm for further criminalizing free-speech.
