In a speech before the Congressional Black Caucus, Hillary Clinton proposed giving every child in America a $5,000 bond at birth to be used for college or to buy a house. She's pandering, of course, to make sure no blacks vote for Obama. Aside from that it's an astoundingly dumb idea. When you reward a behavior with cash, you get more of it. It's the first law of economics. The last thing we need in America are more babies. There aren't enough would-be parents who want to adopt black babies anyway. Let's get all the kids without parents adopted first. Then we can worry about creating new babies.
Besides, isn't Hillary worried that we already have too many people in America? Traffic isn't bad enough for her right now? The hospitals aren't over-burdened as it is? Our infrastructure isn't crumbling already?
