Texas child protective services authorities say they have to seize the children from the Yearning From Zion ranch because girls are being raised to be "victims" and boys are being raised to be "perpetrators."
I don't get it. If a 12 year old girl and a 12 year old boy get it on, why is the girl the victim and the boy the perpetrator? That just perpetuates the notion that boys "win" when they have sex and girls "lose." How about a notion that sex is equally beneficial to both sides? Has it ever occurred to child protective services that when a boy and a girl make love it might be good for both of them? They both might "win"?
Child protective services would no doubt argue that sex is harmful to a 12 year old girl, whereas it is not to a boy. I do't know why. Nature has made it possible for 12 year old girls both to enjoy sex and bear children. I doubt nature would have made it possibe for 12 year olds to have sex if the equipment couldn't handle the traffic.
