Global Warming Thought Crimes

James Hansen, a NASA scientist who, along with Al Gore, helped start the man-caused global warming fraud (and has been pushing it since), now says he wants to put the heads of all the oil companies on trial for "crimes against humanity" for denying the reality of climate change.

Well that's a great idea. But why only the heads of oil companies? There are eminent scientists all around the world who also disagree with Hansen. Some of these guys are at major institutions like Harvard, MIT and the leading universities of Europe. Shouldn't they be in jail too?

If anything their crimes are worse than those of the average energy company CEO. They are highly qualified scientists. They know the facts. When they deny man is the cause of global warming people tend to believe them. Surely their crime is a lot worse than that of any oil company exec, who probably came out of marketing, not climatology, and who probably doesn't know anything more about climate change than what he reads in executive summaries.

And that reminds me of something else. A lot of these TV weathermen come on every night and make jokes about global warming? How can we let them go off Scott-free?

And finally, what about the biggest villain of all--Matt Drudge? All winter long he was forever posting gleeful stories about one global warming conference or another being canceled on account of snow. That kind of blantant mockery of people like Al Gore must stop and it must stop now! If the pope can silence someone like Galileo for telling inconvenient truths surely our judicial system can stop Matt Drudge.
