Ice Storms Prove Global Warming

Drudge claims the Al Gore climate change hearings in Washington D.C. may be delayed this year (again) due to an impending ice storm.  The AP story story wnds with a line that may (or may not) be ironic. "Global warming advocates have suggested this year's wild winter spells are proof of climate change."

Of course, if there had been a warm mild winter in Washington DC, that too would be proof of climate change. Floods are seen as evidence of climate change. Same thing with drought. I can't think of anything that isn't regarded as proof of climate change except weather that never changes. And that never happens.
