Pissing off The Rest of the World (Again)

When the CEO's of the big three automakers flew to Washington on corporate jets a few months ago, Senators and columnists soundly denounced them, as was appropriate. But when President Obama flew to London yesterday with an entourage of 500, no one said a thing.

How many cooks does Obama need to make him a grilled cheese sandwich or a little stir-fry? Why does he need five helicopters? Why does he need a helicopter at all? He's got a fortified limo with everything but missile launchers. Why does the president need to be treated as if he's a king?

The rest of the world (and a lot of people in America) don't appreciate this kind of grandiosity. If Obama is that afraid of terror attacks he ought to stay in Washington in an underground bunker and communicate with the rest of the world by conference call.
